Parking - Ceremony

Limited parking is available in a lot behind the Museum.

Parking is also available at the following G.O. Parking facilities located in condominium buildings only a few blocks away from the Museum:

• 1445 N. State

• 1350 N. Lake Shore Drive

• 1325 N. State

With a validated parking receipt, the rates for visitors to the International Museum of Surgical Science are as follows:

0-1 Hour........$8.00
1-4 Hours.......$9.00
4-6 Hours.......$12.00
6-12 Hours.....$15.00

Parking - Reception

The Corus Bank parking lot will have free, available parking for guests of the wedding.

The Bank is located on Western Ave just north of Lawrence and the Dank Haus.  To get to the parking lot, going north, you will have to turn Left off of Western onto a small street called Gunnison, just 1/2 block north of Lawrence and the street is right in front of the McDonald's.  Go about 1/4 block down this one-way street to reach the entrance of the bank's parking lot.

Going from the Ceremony: Directions to Corus Bank parking lot would be to exit Lake Shore Drive at Lawrence Ave., travel west (left) 2 miles to Western Ave., turn right, travel in left lane one block to Gunnison St. (no traffic light at intersection, turn before McDonald's), make left turn, travel one quarter block, turn left into bank parking lot entrance

We are currently working on having another lot made available.  If the lots are full, again there is free, no-permit street parking on the side streets, and metered parking on the main streets.
